If the java applet does not appear, your security settings may be keeping it from loading. Internet Explorer users can to to the Tools menu and click Internet Options to access their settings. Click the Security tab and click Trusted Sites (the green checkmark). Next click the Sites button and make sure that the checkbox at the bottom ("Require server verification...") is not checked. Type "http://www.nashvilleaquarist.net" in the space provided, and click Add. Click OK to close this window and OK to close the next window.

If you continue to have problems, you can download a local client here. Once the zip file is downloaded, unzip it and run mIRC.exe. It will prompt for your name, email, nickname and alternate nickname. Fill in these fields and click Connect to Server. It is set up to automatically join our chat room.
