Upgrades complete - Thursday, May 03, 2007
As you may have noticed, the other week NA.net experienced some temporary outages while we relocated to a new server. The upgrade is complete and everything should be back to normal.

NashvilleAquarist.net Shutting Down! - Monday, April 02, 2007
Early this morning we received a phone call from Justice E. Riley Anderson notifying us that a court order has been issued demanding NashvilleAquarist.net be taken offline before the end of the day. All user credentials and site logs must be turned over to the Tennessee state courts and members will be contacted for questioning regarding the import of illegal aquatic species.

Please understand that we do not have the resources to fight this and will be complying with the court order. We would like to ask that all members visit the following page for how they can protect themselves from criminal prosecution.

Sometimes you want to ask someone a question or tell someone something and the forums aren't the right place for it, but you don't have their email address. Now you can send them a private message.

You've always been able to see who's logged onto the website, but now you're able to see what page they're looking at. Are they browsing the forums or in the chat room? Now you can see for yourself!

While the forums allow members to share ideas and ask questions, sometimes you just want to shoot the breeze about the things you enjoy. The live chat room will allow members to talk more easily and, hopefully, help us get to know each other better. It's also a great place to go if you have an emergency and can't wait for someone to respond to a forum post.

Yahoo! Widgets (formerly known as konfabulator) is a great way of extending your desktop. We just finished development of a widget for our very own site that will show a list of the most recent forum posts right on your desktop. You can download the widget engine here. Once it's installed, download our widget here and double click on it.

New Forum Functionality - Sunday, July 09, 2006
We have purchased an upgrade for the forums which include RSS feeds and the ability for members to subscribe to nofications when new messages are posted. We will be implementing the new functionality in the next few days.

New DIY Guides - Wednesday, June 28, 2006
We're working on adding more content to the site and recently posted a number of Do it Yourself guides. Members can help out by submitting new FAQs and Directory listings.
